Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains the coverage provided by Adrian Louise LLC d/b/a DkBuildsPC (“DkBuildsPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for systems and services purchased from us.

Quick Overview

  • New Custom PCs: 3-Year Build Service Warranty (labor) + Manufacturer warranties on all components + Lifetime basic tech support + Local Lifetime Service (if eligible).
  • Used & Refurbished PCs: 14-Day Limited Functionality Warranty + Lifetime basic tech support.
  • Services: 14-Day Workmanship Guarantee (labor only).

1. 3-Year Build Service Warranty (Custom PCs Only)

Every new custom PC purchased directly from DkBuildsPC includes a 3-Year Build Service Warranty, starting on the date of delivery or pickup.

This warranty covers labor related to the original build, including:

  • Diagnosis of hardware-related issues.
  • Correction of build-related assembly issues (loose connections, mis-seated components, incorrect cabling).
  • Re-application of CPU thermal paste when needed.
  • Reinstallation or reconfiguration of Windows when necessary for build-related stability.
  • Installation of replacement parts or upgrades when the customer provides the hardware (parts not included).

This is a labor-only warranty. Individual components (CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, etc.) are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. The cost of replacement parts is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.1 Exclusions – 3-Year Build Service Warranty

  • Physical damage (drops, spills, impacts, cracked cases, broken ports, etc.).
  • Damage from power surges, lightning, faulty outlets, or improper power protection.
  • Damage or instability caused by overclocking, undervolting, BIOS tuning, or firmware changes after delivery.
  • Issues caused by user-installed software, malware, or operating system modifications unrelated to the original build.
  • Any work performed by a third party or unauthorized modification.
  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes.

If the system has been opened or modified without our involvement, this warranty may be void at our discretion.


2. Local Lifetime Service (Optional – Local Customers Only)

Customers who purchased a PC directly from DkBuildsPC and are located within our service area may qualify for ongoing labor support, including:

  • Installation of upgrades (customer provides parts).
  • Internal cleaning and dust maintenance.
  • Thermal repaste when appropriate.
  • General system inspections and health checks.

2.1 Conditions

  • The system must be purchased directly from DkBuildsPC.
  • You must remain within our local service area.
  • No third-party repairs or modifications have been performed.
  • All internal upgrades are handled by DkBuildsPC.
  • No physical or liquid damage has occurred.

This benefit applies as long as the program is active. We may update or discontinue it for future customers at our discretion.


3. Used & Refurbished PCs

  • All refurbished systems include a 14-Day Limited Functionality Warranty.
  • This covers major functional defects not related to normal wear, age, or disclosed conditions.
  • Cosmetic imperfections are not covered.

4. Services (Repairs, Cleaning & Optimization)

All services provided by DkBuildsPC include a 14-Day Workmanship Guarantee.

  • If an issue arises directly from our work, we will correct it at no additional labor cost within this period.
  • We do not provide long-term hardware warranties on used or aging components.
  • Performance improvements (FPS, latency, benchmarks) are not guaranteed, as results depend on system configuration, environment, and software updates.

5. Lifetime Support

All customers receive lifetime basic tech support, including:

  • Setup assistance
  • BIOS guidance
  • Upgrade recommendations
  • General troubleshooting advice

6. Making a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please contact us with:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Proof of purchase or invoice number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos or videos if applicable

7. Remedies

If a claim is approved, we may at our discretion:

  • Service or repair the system under the applicable warranty terms (labor only; parts cost may apply).
  • Re-seat or reconfigure hardware or software as needed.
  • Offer a partial credit or alternative solution if repair is not practical.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product or service. We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, lost productivity, or any indirect or consequential damages.
