Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains the coverage provided by Adrian Louise LLC d/b/a DkBuildsPC (“DkBuildsPC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for systems and services purchased from us.

Quick Overview

  • New Custom PCs: 3-Year Service Warranty + Local Lifetime Service Warranty (if you live in our local area).
  • Used & Refurbished PCs: 14-Day Limited Functionality Warranty + Local Lifetime Service Warranty (if you live in our local area).
  • All Warranties: Service (labor) only – hardware parts are covered by manufacturer warranties, where applicable.

1. 3-Year Service Warranty (New Custom PCs Only)

Every new custom PC purchased directly from DkBuildsPC includes a 3-Year Service Warranty, starting on the date of delivery or pickup.

Under this 3-Year Service Warranty, we provide professional support and service at no additional labor cost for issues reasonably related to the original build, including:

  • Diagnosis of hardware-related problems.
  • Correction of build-related assembly issues (loose connections, mis-seated components, incorrect cabling).
  • Re-application of CPU thermal paste when needed to address build-related thermal issues.
  • Reinstallation or reconfiguration of Windows when necessary to address stability directly related to the build.
  • Installation of replacement parts or upgrades when the customer provides the hardware (hardware cost is not included).

This is a service (labor) warranty only. Individual components (CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, etc.) are covered, if applicable, by their manufacturer’s warranty. The cost of replacement parts is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.1. Exclusions – 3-Year Service Warranty

The 3-Year Service Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage (drops, spills, impacts, cracked cases, broken ports, etc.).
  • Damage from power surges, lightning, faulty outlets, or inadequate power protection.
  • Damage or instability caused by overclocking, undervolting, manual BIOS tuning, or firmware modifications made after delivery.
  • Issues caused by user-installed software, malware, viruses, or operating system modifications unrelated to the original build.
  • Any work performed after the system has been opened, modified, or serviced by a third party other than DkBuildsPC.
  • Normal wear and tear, fan noise over time, or cosmetic changes.

If the system has been opened or modified by anyone other than DkBuildsPC, or if parts have been removed, replaced, or rewired without our involvement, the 3-Year Service Warranty may be void at our discretion.


2. Local Lifetime Service Warranty (All PCs Purchased from DkBuildsPC)

In addition to the warranties above, DkBuildsPC offers a special Local Lifetime Service Warranty for customers who:

  • Purchased a PC (new custom, used, or refurbished) directly from DkBuildsPC, and
  • Live within our local service area (as defined on our website or confirmed at the time of purchase).

For as long as this program is active and we continue operating in your region, eligible local customers may receive ongoing service labor at no additional cost, including:

  • Installation of upgraded components when you purchase new hardware (you pay only for the parts themselves).
  • Periodic internal cleaning and dust maintenance performed by DkBuildsPC.
  • CPU thermal repaste during maintenance visits when appropriate.
  • Visual inspection and basic health checks of the system during service visits.

2.1. Conditions – Local Lifetime Service Warranty

The Local Lifetime Service Warranty is a service warranty and applies to any PC purchased from DkBuildsPC (new custom, used, or refurbished) as long as all of the following conditions are met:

  • The PC or laptop was purchased directly from DkBuildsPC.
  • You remain within our defined local service area.
  • The system has not been opened, modified, or serviced by the customer or any third party (no self-repairs or outside shops).
  • All hardware upgrades and internal changes are performed by DkBuildsPC.
  • The system has not suffered physical damage, liquid damage, or obvious abuse.

If you or a third party open the PC, move or replace internal components, or perform hardware work without DkBuildsPC, the Local Lifetime Service Warranty is considered void.

This warranty does not extend or replace any manufacturer’s hardware warranty. We may update or discontinue the Local Lifetime Service Warranty for future purchases at our discretion. Any changes will not affect customers who already have written confirmation of their eligibility at the time of purchase.


3. Used & Refurbished PCs

For used and refurbished systems sold by DkBuildsPC:

  • We provide a 14-Day Limited Functionality Warranty from the date of delivery or pickup.
  • This warranty covers major functional defects that are not related to normal wear, age, or previously disclosed conditions.
  • Cosmetic imperfections are not covered.
  • If you are a local customer, you may also be eligible for the Local Lifetime Service Warranty described above.

4. Services (Repairs, Cleaning & Optimization)

We stand behind our workmanship on repairs and optimizations; however:

  • We do not provide long-term hardware warranties for aging or previously unstable components.
  • Optimization services (tuning, configuration, performance adjustments) do not guarantee specific FPS, benchmark scores, or latency results, as these depend on your environment, internet connection, and future software updates.

5. Making a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please contact us with:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • Proof of purchase or invoice number.
  • A clear description of the issue, including any error messages.
  • Photos or videos if physical issues are visible.

6. Remedies

If a claim is approved under this Warranty Policy, we may, at our discretion:

  • Service or repair the system under the applicable warranty terms (service warranty only; parts cost may apply).
  • Re-seat or reconfigure hardware and software as needed.
  • Offer a partial credit or alternative solution where repair is not practical.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this Warranty Policy is limited to the original purchase price of the product or service in question. We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, lost productivity, or any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
