Service Liability Disclaimer & Waiver

By booking any service with Adrian Louise LLC d/b/a DkBuildsPC (“DkBuildsPC”), including repairs, cleaning, optimization, configuration, or remote support, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Ownership & Access

  • You confirm that you are the owner of the device or have full permission from the owner to authorize service.
  • You authorize DkBuildsPC to access hardware and software as reasonably necessary to perform the requested services.

2. Risk of Data Loss

  • You understand that repairs or software work may involve risk of data loss.
  • It is your responsibility to back up all important files, data, and settings before service.
  • DkBuildsPC is not liable for any loss of data or software.

3. Pre-Existing Issues

  • Many systems arrive with dust buildup, overheating, aging components, or prior damage.
  • Our work may reveal or exacerbate underlying hardware issues that were not visible before service.
  • DkBuildsPC is not responsible for failure of components that were already weak, failing, or damaged.

4. Software Changes & Optimization

  • Optimization may include changes to operating system settings, registry entries, startup programs, power plans, and drivers.
  • You understand that some changes may affect how software behaves and that certain applications may require reinstallation or reconfiguration.
  • You agree that performance figures are not guaranteed and can vary based on your internet connection, environment, applications, and future updates.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DkBuildsPC will not be responsible for:

  • Loss of data, files, or software.
  • Downtime, lost productivity, or missed opportunities.
  • Incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from service.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

6. Acceptance

By proceeding with booking or continuing with service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Service Liability Disclaimer & Waiver.
